The Intro to Tech Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI Intro to Tech certification course. The purpose of this manual is to introduce the sport diver to the concepts of technical diving. It focuses primarily on defining the various activities, explaining the equipment, outlining the options, and previewing the information that will be further addressed during training in each specialty area.

The Nitrox Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI Nitrox certification course. In many respects, nitrox is just a tool that can make your diving more enjoyable. Similar to an additional piece of equipment, once you have completed this TDI course and logged your first few nitrox dives, you will understand what a valuable tool it is. Nitrox will add useful options and flexibility to your dive planning and execution.

The Advanced Nitrox Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI Advanced Nitrox certification course. This TDI course will help develop the mindset and practical skills necessary to optimize Nitrox breathing mixtures for divers. The Advanced Nitrox course is the first step in taking scuba beyond the usual sport-diving applications.

The Decompression Procedures Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI Decompression Procedures certification course. TDI has brought this course to the recreational diver in response to the demand and desire for more information. Recreational-Technical divers can take the course during the series of courses available through TDI, usually between Advanced Nitrox and Extended Range and Trimix.

The Extended Range and Trimix Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI Extended Range and Trimix certification course. Extended Range diving is exploring the limits of up to 180 FSW (55MSW) for air as a bottom mix and up to 200 FSW (60 MSW) for basic trimix. Within this range, the diver can explore many additional sights that are beyond the standard recreational Open Water limit of 130 FSW (40 MSW).

The Advanced Trimix Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI Advanced Trimix certification course. This course has been designed to help teach participants how to conduct serious divers well beyond the limits familiar to the vast majority of divers. Graduates from the TDI Advanced Trimix course will have the ability to plan and lead complex trimix decompression dives to a maximum depth of 100m/330 feet.

The Advanced Wreck Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI Advanced Wreck certification course. Probably the first motivation for people to attempt diving was in the pursuit of shipwrecks, either for commercial salvage purposes or to recover sunken cargoes. This book will explain how to visit these sites safely and with the proper diving practices.

The Overhead (Cavern and Cave) Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI Overhead (Cavern and Cave) certification course. This manual will serve as your reference tool as you proceed through the various levels of TDI cave training. The TDI cave diving programs have been carefully crafted to teach cave diving specific practices and procedures. Dives incorporating decompression stops, rebreathers, or gases other than air require additional training.

The Generic Rebreather Manual is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI any CCR certification course. A perspective student will find this course to give descriptive, educational, and in-depth knowledge for a variety of topics regarding the history of rebreathers, an introduction to rebreathers, the mechanics behind CCR’s, dive planning, diving with a rebreather, emergency procedure drills, as well as avoiding rebreather incidents and accidents.

The S-CCR is the text-book literary assistant to the TDI S-CCR certification course. This course will grant each student with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the various topics regarding the use of rebreathers and their place within a diving environment. Detailed chapters include information on “What is a Rebreather?”, the semi-closed circuit rebreather system, rebreather physiology, gas consumption and decompression, a semi-closed circuit dive, and finally emergency procedures.
